The District Birds: are being Provoked instead of being Appeased

Students are the future of a nation. When it comes to the topic of Bangladesh, it can be quite complex. Bangladesh is a developing country where students are the prospect for this nation. Nevertheless, most of the qualified educational institutions are in the Dhaka Division. Those who go to their educational institutions from a distant place should be highlighted according to our country.

Students in Bangladesh mostly study in Dhaka for higher education. Those living far away from their institution suffer the most to reach their destination. These students go to their institutions from distant places to live a better, healthier, and more affordable life. Initially, Every student wants to study from his own home as they can study easily in a constitutional way where parents can play a crucial role in guiding them to stay on the right path in life. Furthermore, learning from home is healthier than living in a hostel or renting a room in another environment which can cause health issues in some cases. A convenient option for students is to attend the institution from their own homes, while still enjoying their mother's home-cooked food, which is the healthiest option for them. Subsequently, some students study from their homes to humble their family expenses since living in Dhaka as a bachelor is so expensive. However, many students are homesick and cannot stay away from their homes.

Dhaka is widely recognized as one of the most densely populated cities not only in Bangladesh but also in South Asia. Unfortunately, this density has made the city somewhat inhospitable to students. Some of the factors contributing to this discomfort include poorly constructed and often dangerous roads, unregulated public transportation with unpredictable stops and road accidents, roadside industries, and political or religious gatherings. Additionally, the absence of adequate foot overbridges, or the presence of beggars and hawkers on those that do exist, has further complicated matters. The city also suffers from a significant problem with garbage accumulation. It is impossible to ignore the issue of traffic jams in Dhaka.

The students who travel from a distant place face traffic jams almost every day. As a result, they sometimes become late and miss their classes. Sometimes they miss their exams and important seminars also which causes academic degradation. Many students don’t want to attend many important seminars and workshops that can shape their careers. Additionally, students face many skin diseases due to the unhealthy environment of our roads. In contrast, our roads are increasing our costs also. Traffic jams force students to change their transportation, resulting in extra costs, including hiring private transport in emergencies. Similarly, students in Dhaka with illnesses incur medical expenses due to the morbid environment and cause even death sometimes. Thus the District Birds are facing provocations instead of receiving the compassion they deserve. We are looking for appropriate initiatives that can give them a breath of relief.
